On the 14 November we celebrate our first anniversary of when the idea for BOSS IW came to fruition! Although strictly speaking BOSS IW went 'live' on 1 January 2015, it took several weeks beforehand to be in a position to launch the business. Luck looked upon us favourably when the wonderful office in the Ventnor Enterprise Centre became available, and wowed us with the fantastic sea views, and we knew from then that Ventnor was going to be THE place to base ourselves.

And the beauty of our BOSS IW office view, is that we can see Nature in all of its guises and forces. Just a couple of weeks ago, Ventnor was enjoying the wonderful sight of a pod of dolphins playing in the sea just a few hundred yards off the beach, and on 1 November the temperature in some parts of Ventnor was a balmy 21C. Ventnor also had a visit from The Bake Off's very own Mary Berry and the Ventnor Arts Club hosted the live cinema showing of Hamlet, direct from the Barbican in London, with' almost local' Benedict Cumberbatch - it all happens in Ventnor - where else would anyone want to be?

So, nearly a year on, we've just joined the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce and I'm looking forward to networking across the Island. Our first business breakfast will be in Foggs in Ventnor - so not too far to travel for an early start at 0730!

So, we'll be raising our glasses and toasting BOSS IW with bubbly and Prosecco and launching ourselves into our second year!
